Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has stated he does not intend to resign from his position, as he reiterated his stance that the 100 per cent tax, imposed by his government, on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, will not be removed until these two countries recognise Kosovo as independent and sovereign state.
Haradinaj has said in KTV's “Rubikon” that suspending the tax on products from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina is not an option.
He has stressed that his position is uncomfortable and that the move towards Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be lifted until the recognition of Kosovo by them.
Haradinaj has said he is open to any solution, which would benefit the country, even the sweeping government, but has rejected the possibility of resignation.
The election move, which the opposition demands, which is legitimate... going to the polls must lead a motion. How else does it go to the elections?
I don't want to quit. Do you know why? I don't think I'm right in the decisions and attitudes I've taken for this country”, Haradinaj has declared.
