No exact figures know how many people are affected by seizures in Kosovo

The head of the Association Against Epilepsy of Kosovo, Valbona Govori, on the occasion of the International Epilepsy Day note, said that the exact number of diagnosed persons from this disease is not known in our country, until poor financial conditions are additional factors that this disease cannot be addressed.

At the table organised by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, Govor asked the Ministry of Health for treatment of epilepsy to take priority.

Meanwhile, the director of the Neotology Clinic, Nexmend Shala, speaking of the medical services of these patients in this clinic, said they enjoy the right to daily checks. He also presented the difficulties they face as a physician in treating those affected by this pathology.
