Kemal Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist who had been living in Washington for years, was killed at the Arab consulate in Istanbul in October last year, while his body is believed to have been disbanded after not yet being found.
Initially, Arab authorities denied hiding after the assassination, but after some Turkish investigations, they agreed that the event had occurred at the consulate, but denied that the country's top leaders had knowledge, or had ordered the murder.
Reactions to Saudi Arabia have been to the killing of Khashogg, since almost the entire Western world has declared that it is awaiting the outcome of the investigations, but actually for the situation itself in the Middle East, the US and the EU do not care about a “crisis” of the reports with Riyadin.
