Deputy Minister Without Competitive Becomes Assistant to Rector Kosumi

Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Abdulselam Shkodra has been engaged as foreign assistant at Gjilan University “Kadri Zeka”, without competing.

Shkodra, who is suspected to be a close friend of Gjilan University Rector Bayram Kosumi, has become his assistant in the “Scientific Research Methodism” and in subject “The modern State and Local Governance” where the professor's name Elesey is.

In the competition declared on September 14, 2018, an assistant was required in the subject “Scientific Research Method”, but we documents that are owned by Insander newspaper, the name of Deputy Minister Shkodra, are not found on the list of candidates admitted to this university.

Bajram Kosumi for employment without the Shkodra competition has said he does not know how his assistant is employed.

Kosumi even hung up the phone when he was asked how he didn't know how Deputy Minister Shkodra was hired.

Kosumi, among other things, has said that the names of committed assistants are not published on the university website. He has indicated that these issues should be questioned by the university management.

While the University management has said Shkodra is engaged on the basis of the university statute.
