Costett: Our work in Kosovo focuses on peace, justice and prosperity

He made these comments in the case of launching “Junior gays”, this programme funded by the US State Department, through the American Embassy in Pristina and the ICC.

The programme is split as a reward for the three stock exchange group. At the launch ceremony, the comprehensive platform for high school students was said to learn and develop entrepreneurship, technology and innovation.

Ambassador Costet said programmes such as “Junior Geek” give students new practical tools and skills to continue advanced studies, and also to be competitive in the labour market.

The US government's “Work in Kosovo focuses on three main topics -- peace, justice and prosperity. All of those students who will participate in the programme will be better prepared to contribute to Kosovo's development in the three areas mentioned. Connection to well-being is clear, the programme focuses on the main skills needed to contribute to the economy that every day changes and is focused on technology. With the support of Kosovo's innovative centre and other mentors, you will improve some of the properties necessary to become successful entrepreneurs, as well as create jobs”, he said.

The American diplomat said online platforms offer ways in which the public can hold an account for the government and contribute to the rule of law in Kosovo.

For Costnet, it is very important that the programme is designed as an inclusive platform that brought together young people across geographical and ethnic boundaries.

Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqiri Bytyqi said that Kosovo's youth has the talent, unless it offers opportunities for them to develop.

What our youth needs is to create opportunities and conditions, because they have talent, and it shows the result here today what we have in our young people. Our important partners are creating opportunities for our young people, but we are under obligation to give our young people great conditions and opportunities to truly be our future. If we are going to succeed in creating conditions what are being presented today, we can be sure that our country's future is very safe”, he said, the KP reports.

ICK Executive Director Uranic Beg said the programme that was launched today will have more impact if it is inclusive.

A society that is unable to include all parts of its community will not develop. Therefore, thanks to you who have come from Mitrovica, Peja, all other municipalities, I believe this programme will be more complete and more meaningful and more influential if we become together and deliver a message that Kosovo deserves best, deserves the best (4)x1>, Beg said.

He said they are open to any initiative aimed at improving prosperity and that focus has economic development.

Otherwise, the “Junior Geex” platform will bring local experts from the world of technology, science and innovation, available to youth of school clubs, to learn about topics that help them form and apply skills in areas such as programming, robotics, cyber security, and others.

“Junior Geex” is the first implemented initiative in high schools to materialise students' talents in technology, innovation, science and entrepreneurship.

The programme was split as a reward for the group of three burists Eldita Tarani, Shpend Lila and Zana Tabaku.
