The documents proving these complaints are published by the Department of Health and Human Services. The published reports date from October 2015 onward. However, the largest number of complaints has surrendered during President Donald Trump's power.

The total number of complaints about sexual abuse during 2018 was 1261, 192 complaints more than during 2017. Of them, 178 complaints have been filed against US headquarters staff for immigrants. The number of complaints of sexual abuse by staff had increased from 4 in February last year to 12 July.
