Two years ago, two excavors took only one hour to destroy the wall built in northern Mitrovica.
During the fall of the wall, it was said that there will be no walls on that section and that the opening of the bridge linking the south and the north, which has not happened until two years later.
The first to come out to observe the works was the chief of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostova, who said this is an important moment for Mitrovica and its citizens.
She has also thanked international partners, with particular emphasis on American, for being willing to avoid any possible incidents.
