The 100 per cent tax on imports from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as modalisations of a possible final agreement with Serbia, have questioned the life expectancy of the coalition. The tax has brought Kosovo into conflict with internationals as well.
Signals that early elections could be held have given the chairman of the main party in the coalition, Kadri Wessel. Meanwhile, newspaper sources have been talking about the PDK's attempt to keep the current government alive, but without Haradinaj as prime minister, who is refusing to suspend the tax.
The prime minister has not commented whether the coalition partner is working behind his back to bring him down. He said he wasn't officially asked to tear down the government, but he added that if someone had a certain plan, they might be okay in five minutes.

Various sources have told the paper that the Democratic Party has been trying to convince the Democratic League to enter Government for weeks. This would be done without new elections.
