Despite coalition clashes, election opportunity is being disfellowshipped

The US and the EU have called for the suspension of the tax so that continued dialogue on normalisation of relations between Pristina and Belgrade is given.
As Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj continues to insist on the tax on Serbian goods, Kosovo Assembly Chairman Kadri Veselini, who is the leader of the largest party within the ruling coalition, the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has agreed to a 120-day suspension of this tax.
Recognitions of political developments estimate that disagreements between the ruling coalition partners are jeopardising the existence of this coalition. But, however, they rule out the possibility of early evental elections.
