CKUK surgeons suspend strike until April

At the meeting held earlier today, the Grevist Council of Surgeons has decided to suspend the strike until April.

For such a thing, surgeons have said they would soon come up with communiqués, however, sources of the Koha Ditore newspaper have confirmed that they have already agreed that for two months there will be an additional payment mode out of salaries. The surgeons have asked MSH to compensate financially for clinical management and risk.

However, such a thing may be irreplaceable because of the financial cost. This is because many medical profiles must be paid legally for risk. Among them are the profiles that develop their work into ionizing radiation environments such as the Radiology clinic, Oncogia, Nuclear Medicine, the Invasive Cardiology Department, and others.

Risky is also considered the Infectious Clinic, Pulmology, Emergency, Psychiatry, and others. Paying for riskability as defined by the legal basis for all services, and not only for Surgery, will have high financial costs. Even the next requirement for compensation for clinical trials has difficulty realising. This is because doctors currently consult a specialist during studies receive additional compensation.

But as the newspaper has learned, surgeons are demanding that not only the assigned mentor but all surgeons who took the hall provide services, establish diagnosis accompanied by students in specialization to pay extra for their commitment. This could be a very high cost, given that clinical learning is done in each QKUK clinic and not just in the surgery clinics.

In QKUK, only emergency operations are under way in December, while thousands of operations have been cancelled on executive cases (cold cases operating based on the waiting list).

The surgeons' request was that the salary not be increased to 1200 euros, calling it denigration payment.

Their only acceptable fee is the 1800-euro salary.
