The party was backed by Eurodeputt Nigel Farage, an ardent supporter of a non-competitive break with the EU and a key figure in the 2016 Brex referendum campaign.
This recognition implies that Brexit Party could participate in elections in Great Britain, including that of the European Parliament in May, which can also be held in Great Britain, if Brex is postponed after 29 March.
The party was founded with my full support and with the aim of participating in the May 23rd European elections unless Brex is implemented by then”, Nigel Farage told the daily “The Daily Telegraph”
