Syria's state media, which have quoted a military source, have announced that the coalition led by the United States of America attacked a Syrian army base by aircraft, causing troop injury and material damage.
A spokesman for the American-led coalition, who are fighting in the last area of ISIS, has said Allies were attacked in advance and have simply exercised their right to defend themselves. He has added that this incident is being investigated.
Two soldiers are reportedly injured by this attack. The coalition of American forces and other allies is supporting the Democratic Forces of Syria, which are composed of several groups and are led by Kurds.
The Islamic State currently controls only a few villages in Syria after losing most of its territory during 2017 by two rival armies, the Democratic Forces of Syria, supported by the United States, and the Syrian army, supported by Russian forces.
Russia and the United States have maintained military contacts aimed at avoiding unplanned conflicts between the two armies fighting against the Islamic State. However, some clashes have occurred in the past, writes “Reuters”.
