The platform for dialogue with Serbia, in absence of quorum, has not been passed to the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Diaspores and Strategic Investments, while with 5 votes for and 4 votes against, the draft law on duties, responsibilities and competencies of the state delegation in the dialogue process with the neighbouring state passed on second reading at the next session.
In this case, the dialogue platform was sharply criticised by opposition party members, stressing that this document does not preserve Kosovo's citizenship and sovereignty against dialogue with Serbia.
The commission's chairman, Vjosa Osmani, had numerous criticisms for the dialogue platform with Serbia, as it has serious problems as it does not protect Kosovo's independence and citizenship.
Osmani indicated that this platform does not address the role of other state institutions, as she says, the president does not have the right to create positions, but only to protect government positions.
According to her, on the platform of dialogue is a point that Kosovo without reaching an agreement with Serbia cannot membership in international organisations and foreign agencies. According to her, this is harmful and unacceptable.
“Without the law for dialogue, any document is invalid”, Osmani said.
For VV deputy Glauk Konjufca, on this platform the government is not clearly positioned in the face of positions the president has on the platform.
There should only be one platform. It is that since President Hashim Thaci has stopped his purposes for partitioning Kosovo”, he said.
The MP from the PDK ranks, Evgeni Thaci, had charges against members of this commission, as according to her, at no moment has it been said there will be division and exchange of territories.
Initiative MP Zafir Berisha said the platform and the law itself for dialogue is an attempt to empower Kosovo institutions in the face of the situation in which the country is located.
While the commission's deputy chairman, Time Kadrijaj, said this platform and this law ensures Kosovo on February 17th with borders, territory and sovereignty. /
