The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) today has decided to interrupt the coalition with the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) in the municipality of Mitrovica.
In a media communiqué, it is said that after numerous attempts to harmonise AAK's positions and programme in this municipality, the AKR has been estimated that there is a serious lack of will for co-operation.
The last weeks' developments in Mitrovica have been crucial to making that decision. The AAK remains committed to good governance at both the central and local level”, the communique concludes.
