The Royal Palace of Great Britain has announced that Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, will voluntarily hand over the driving permit. He had caused an accident a few weeks earlier, and his ability to drive was questioned by the media.
Just two days after the accident was caused, he was photographed driving without wearing the seat belt, while police have said he has kindly advised him not to repeat such an offense.
Through a statement, the Royal Palace has stated that after a careful assessment, the Duke of Edinburgh has made a decision to volunteer the permit of the driving. Norfolk police have confirmed that the royal family member has submitted permission to the authorities.
The investigation into the accident case has already been passed to the competence of the Royal Prosecutorial Service, whose officials have said they will consider the decision to hand over the driving permit during further review of the case, writes “BBC”
