200 people are recognized as the victim of war violence

The Government Commission for Recognising and Verification of the Status of Rapistered Persons during the Kosovo Liberation War has announced that by now it has accepted a total of 911 applications and has made a decision on 323 cases, of which 200 people have been recognized as the victim of sexual violence of war. In the footnote to his one-year job, the Commission has also made it known that 123 people have been denied this status, until 100 requests have been accepted for review, half of which have been reviewed and set up for them, while over 50 other applications are under consideration.
The Government Commission in this case calls on the country's institutions, nongovernmental organisations, media and all citizens to support this important process for the society and the state of Kosovo.
Moreover, the Government Commission calls on all persons who have experienced sexual violence during the Kosovo war to apply for recognition of their legal status.
