In Kosovo, in 2018 there are about 1,500 new cancer cases at the Oncology Clinic in KKUK.
QKUKUK Director Basri Sejdiu has said how management is committed to treating cancer diseases for all patients.
With the approval of the state budget, tools have been envisioned for increasing the number of treatment of cancer.
This year's “are envisioned several new services for treating cancer and will not even have a future savings for treating this disease”, Sejdiu said, adding that this clinic will perform services like clinics in the region.
Deputy Health Minister Ali Berisha said commitment is needed to combat and prevent cancer.
According to Berisha, all relevant institutions should be more effective in fighting cancer.
He also sought to boost training capacities.
Oncology Clinic Director Ilir Kurtishi said there are 1500 new cancer cases in 2018, which is a trend the same as 2017 that dominates breast cancer in the female gender.
