Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has talked about the election process in Kosovo and efforts to establish a new government.
He has said that Kosovo has successfully passed a test of democracy, regardless of the election outcome.
The winning “party should begin with the formation of the government. I want to stress that any process with Serbia will be addressed at the level of two sovereign states and with political consensus in Kosovo. I am president and will invest in achieving internal consensus in Kosovo. The controversy does not stop in the pluralistic system, but the time has come for us to have a package of priorities between position and opposition, so that there will be no differences in these issues”, he has said.
The head of state has pledged that as the country's president, he will play his role in unifying the political scene.
The president made these statements at the conference organised by the “Institute. East-West” as the main panel. /Periscope.
