The right to access public documents is every human's fundamental right and essential element of good governance. The implementation of the right to be informed is considered a prerequisite for living other rights. For the best regulation of this field, the new Law for Access to Public Documents has been drafted, which entered into force in July of 2019.
At this conference, G LPS and Arise will reveal the findings of the legal analysis “effort or reform? - An input analysis of the New Law on Access to Public Documents” and catalogues with the most scandalous responses of public institutions.
The findings of the analysis will have the focus on the innovations of new legal regulation in this area, comparisons with regional and international legislation, as well as comparison with local laws that combine in this area.
Meanwhile, the catalog findings will serve to improve the actual practices of access to public documents.
And so is G The LPS and Arise will provide a series of recommendations in order to address the innovations, the vagueities presented and meet all legal vacuums.
