These two parties are also trying to establish a coalition for governance at the central level, following the results they have received from the October 6th snap elections, but are not finding common language.
Democratic League of Kosovo General Council member (LDK), Xhafer Tahiri, told Economy Online that he is personally a follower of this coalition, but that according to him, the coalition with the VV implies mutual respect and mutual trust.
All this in order, according to Tahiri, to offer a much required change by citizens.
I led a coalition with VV in Vushtrri and was a follower of such a coalition. But the coalition implies mutual respect and mutual trust to bring about change because it does not become a coalition for one subject or another, but to offer a change for citizens”, Tahiri has said.
“I believe that the LDK is insisting that the coalition be a qualitative change for Kosovo citizens” has added later.
Tahiri, though failing to hint what will happen to the talks between the VV and LDK on reaching the agreement to govern with the country, hopes that these two parties will lead together with the country.
The “is the question of two political subjects whether the coalition will be reached. But I hope there's going to be”, he said.
VV leader Albin Kurti and LDK leader Isa Mustafa have held the last meeting for more than three hours after which no agreement was reached. The president's position has caused these two parties to disagree.
