Two suspects arrested, 5100 euros forged

By December 6th, 2019, from the border crossing in Globocica, police units have received information about a case of suspicion about “the counterfeiting of money”, where suspects have already been detained by Border Police, who, during the search at the suspect's car, have found hidden forged bank notes.

The people arrested over this case are B. A., born in 1993 and V. H., born in 1987, both Albanians and citizens of Macedonia.

The investigation of the suspects has been made at the request of Kachanic police investigators, who had information that the suspects have paid for a pump of derivatives with forged banknotes, leaving the scene.

During detailed search by PKK-Globocica Border Police, 73 bank notes worth 5,100 euros have been found in total. Two in 500, 11 in 100 and 60 50 cuts.

All these alleged banknotes as forged by the state prosecutor's author's permission as material evidence have been temporarily seized and sent for examination of the Kosovar Agency for Forenzice.

The suspects have been interviewed in the presence of defence lawyers engaged on official duty. Under the state prosecutor's decision, the suspects have been assigned the 48-hour ban.
