Thus, the Court has decided that the Law on Salaries will be suspended immediately. The decision was made following the complaint the ombudsman has sent to suspend this law. He had sent 35 complaints to various groups, included in the wage law, which were not satisfied.
The deputy head of the Kosovo Police Union, Saban Tasholli, has reacted over the decision.
Tashloli has said that this union is not satisfied with this court ruling.
Tomorrow we have invited the Steering Council and we will consider this matter, we have announced tomorrow that we will visit them in support of the sign of respect, tomorrow we have the board of directors for further steps, we have not waited for this decision, I am convinced that Kosovo police will receive an increased salary, we have been certain of this”, Tashholi said.
The Law of Salaries was adopted in February this year in the Kosovo Assembly.
