Smajl Latiff's Special Court interview begins

During wartime, Smajl Latifi was one of the commanders in the Rahovec area. The special interview call, Latifi had made it known in October of this year.

Although dozens have been invited for the interview, the Special Court has not yet filed an indictment.

The Special Court, founded in 2015 by the Kosovo Assembly, will investigate crimes allegedly committed by Albanians during the recent war in Kosovo.

With 82 votes for, 5 against and 1 abstention, MPs had voted down the necessary constitutional changes, which had paved the way for the founding of this court sought by the international community. / EO
