Ship with 150 migrants finished

At least 57 migrants have drowned after a ship carrying about 150 immigrants from Gambia drowned on the coast of Mauritania, the UN Migration Agency (IOM) said today. Mauritania authorities said 57 migrants were killed and survivors said the ship left Gambia seven days ago, Reuters reports. [...]

Survivors also said that there were women and children on board, as well as 83 people managed to sail ashore.
This incident is thought to be one of the most tragic after Spain established sea controls in the mid-20000s.
