Rohan has made these comments as he presented a railway project near Tehran on December 31st.
“Iran could earn an additional 200 billion euros if the state does not get involved in economic war”, he said.
The United States has imposed new sanctions against Iran, as Washington has abandoned the core agreement Iran signed with world powers in 2015.
The deal envisions restrictions on Iran's nuclear activity in exchange for release from sanctions.
Since the U.S. has left this deal, Iran has lost 90 percent of its oil exports, considered a major source of revenue.
Iranian waves have dropped, and inflation has exceeded 40 percent.
Rohan has raised points for statements by hardliners to criticise him, saying sanctions have had no impact on Iran.
What should we do? When there is no food and water, you are again in danger no matter how powerful you are”, he said.
Rohan's comments have come only weeks after millions of Iranians have protested financial corruption and oil price increases during November in Iran.
