The prosecution launches investigations into Gjilan municipality for the purchase of 35 cows worth 100 thousand euros

This sum spent has activated justice organs, until the prosecution confirmed that it has launched investigation into the case.

In response to Gjilan's Constitutional Prosecutor, police have reportedly been authorized to begin collecting evidence in the case, under suspicion that criminal acts such as the use of office or official authority may have been committed.

“We report that, in this case, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan, the Department of War Crimes, has authorized police, Economic Crimes and Corruption Investigation Sector, in order to collect evidence, with the aim of lighting up this criminal case, on suspicion of criminal work APUy of official duty or authority, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, in the agriculture sector, in the municipality of Gjilan”, Liridova said from the State Attorney's Office in Gjilan, reports KTV.

And the opposition in this municipality has called the amount spent on buying cows scandalous, until it says it has requested detailed reports on this.

But the beneficiaries of this donation have been pleased to say that they thereby even support the family.

According to the director of Agriculture in Gjilan, Ramiz Ramadani, the municipality has paid 28 thousand euros, donor 59 thousand euros and farmers 14,000 euros.

Although Ramadani says all the names of their beneficiaries are on the official site of the municipality, they are not seen there.

 

 

The municipality of Gjilan, weeks ago, has financed these animals for the family farms of the Gjilan municipality, which have no good financial conditions.
