According to the same source, the epicentra was registered 50 miles [51 km] from the city of Jurm in the Badakshan province and 200 miles [200 km] deep.
Earth trees have also been felt in India's capital, New Delhi, and Pakistan's Islamabad.
Earthquakes are frequent in this region.
In October 2015, over 400 people have lost their lives, and several thousand have lost their homes in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
