Lake “Batlava”, in addition to the importance of providing drinking water for a large number of Kosovo residents, is also marked by the natural beauty surrounding it. Especially in the village of Orlan is an attractive area, which meets the preconditions for tourism.
Many citizens visit this area, which is viewed as attractive on their part, but lack institutional care to create the possibility of tourism in this area.
Of all the acts present at the table were agreed that the problem in this area continues to remain the lack of institutional care for permanent maintenance of the areas around the lake. So as a summary proposal was that the local level, or the Podujevo municipality, being supported by civil society, would have to put positive pressure on the central level so that areas around Lake “Batlava” have institutional care in their maintenance and the possibility of developing tourism.
This project is supported by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and implemented by Kosovo NGO Democracy Rule HINA
