Three months have passed since early parliamentary elections were held in Kosovo.
Since maintaining them, there is still no agreement on forming the government between the two parties aimed at making the LVV and LDK coalition.
Disagreements began since Isa Mustaf's LDK demanded that finalisation of the agreement be concreteised even with the president's issue, which the LDK wants to propose.
While Vetevendosje is opposing that.
Relations between LDK and LVV reached the lowest point when, at the December 26th session, the LVV nominated Parliament's chairmanial candidate Glauk Konjufca, which was considered unilateral by LDK.
The issue is obviously now about whether there will be new elections in the country.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo, although it came out third in the 6 October elections, have pledged to stay in the opposition and that they will not accept the invitation to enter the coalition.
Hajdar Beqa from the PDK, says forming institutions is in the interest of the people. Although, he considers that these two parties have deceived the people with promises that the coalition will be realised within 72 hours.
I consider that the two parties in this case, VV and LDK, who have been advertising before the agreements, after the elections, have measured the citizens of the country and are seen every day that are further away from the agreements than those statements that have been to the VV leader that within 72 hours will make the coalition, Beqa says. Among other things, the MP says VV and LDK during the time they were in opposition have blocked many processes and as such are not capable of forming governments.
I see that they are incapable of managing that fragile victory that they have the same people who have the bloc's processes even when they were in opposition in 2014 and 2017 and with the same avaz are continuing as the first party. I think it is in the country's interest to form the country's institutions as quickly as possible in harmonisation with the country's Constitution, Beqa said.
The MP, elected by NISMA Social Democrat Albulenj-Halimaj, stresses that responsibility falls on Vetevendosje Movement for forming the government and not placing responsibility on the coalition partner, the LDK.
Balaj-Halimaj adds that if these two parties are unable to reach coalition agreements, then they must surrender and move to the elections and see it as the way that allows the country to be freed from political stalemate.
The responsibility is VV to form the government without trying to shoot the blame at LDK. Therefore, reaching an agreement depends entirely on the first election, and extending this political stalemate is the total responsibility of the VV. Our country doesn't have time to lose, so it's good if they don't get a deal to surrender as soon as possible and the place to go to the polls. Then citizens appreciate again considering the fact that the government's formation failed. Because, above all, you have to have and create partners, not just <x0 enemies”, the deputy from NISMA ends up.
Even AAK-elect MP Muharrem Nitaj estimates the desire for power is costing Kosovo too much.
If this country were normal, the government issue should be done already! Extreme calculations for as much power as possible are endangering the functioning of the state. The situation is quite complicated. Whatever the solution, it's good to be done very quickly! He said Nitaj.
Although going to the elections calls it necessary evil, Nitaj does not let it go as a solution to political stalemate.
If there is an insurmountable stalemate in government creation, then the necessary evil would be going to the polls again. This is not the end of this world, nor is this the end of it. We are opposition and declared against other elections, but if there is no way out, we must accept this challenge too! No, no, no.
We remember that the country's President Hashim Thaci, during today's day, has three times invited LVV leader Albin Kurtin to consult. /Periscopi/
