Party in SOS Children's Village

The village of SOS is one of the countries that provides care for abandoned children. Founded in 1999, this country became a force and support for all children in need.

Love, humanity, and the care donated to the village of SOS, have also passed on the power of the blood bond and a large family. And special importance is given to the holiday season at the end of the year, since children receive them with great love.

During this holiday season, the SOS Village has organized many activities that are educationally aimed. But the favorite part was to arrange for the golden hands of the children of this village, who were very excited about this activity that has already become a tradition in SOS.

Faithful Peci, the head of alternative care at the SOS Village, said that at this time of the holidays, they have organized many activities that have the spirituality and socialistic character, but the best activity, according to him, is the decoration of the fir, since children do the part very lovingly.

“In the SOS Children's Villages of Kosovo activities are designed and understood on the basis of the needs children have, the needs which are identified by the professorial staff, primarily the nature of activities we perform with the children in Sos Villages of Kosovo, there are corrective, educational and socialistic characters, that means that when we select activities to meet these three criteria. At this time of parties, we have a lot of special activities with children where they're actually going to do a little activity today, decorating New Year's wanderers, next to this tree they're going to host visitors and guests who will come to see, have quality time with them and perhaps even give gifts to children SOS”, said Pec.

Peci said that the activities SOS organises also have preemptive characters for the fact that through educational activities, they protect children from negative phenomena, such as narcotics, psycho-active substances, tobacco, and other phenomena that are harmful to them.

Peci said that even though these children have their own needs, they still have that sense of humanity and help for other children. This year with the initiative “Duko don't hesitate”, children have collected and recycled toys, which they have then donated to children in need.

“At the same time along with children we've been doing activities that go into the service of their peers in communities, and as a result, children have been leaders or fascists of some activities like humanitarian activities, with the initiative “

And last year's holidays make it even better for the success of the children of the SOS, who have been very good at school this year, Besnik Peci expressed great happiness in the achievement of these children, as the year we leave behind for the SOS village, despite many challenges successfully ending.

“has been a very successful year, with many positive results of children both in the field of schooling, employment and in the area of developing skills for an independent life”, Peci added.

Peci said that at this end, they have found support from many different companies that have brought gifts to children.
