LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa says he cannot reason with the VV's request for the interior ministry, arguing that this ministry is needed to fight corruption. He says even the LDK has the mandate to fight corruption.

Kurti said it's not good to trade ministries, like the exchange of territories.

So said Isa Mustafa:

It has been defined that it will be resolved with direct conversations with political subject leaders. We see no reason now to enter the exchange process, as in the exchange of territories, to say and take this ministry away. Reasoning why we should say VV should take over the Ministry of Interior because without it it it's hard to fight corruption, I see no reason, corruption we have to fight together, we can't separate the ministry from taking advantage of political ambitions because it's the law that fights corruption, not ministers, because the ministers are people with political positions. I remind them and the opinion, that the police director on the basis of the Constitution chooses the government, the prime minister. I don't see the reason the VV is more willing, more capable of fighting corruption than the LDK is. Because we've got 28 deputies to fight crime and corruption, and they've taken 29, so the citizens have also believed LDK to fight crime and corruption”, he said. /Periscope.
