First goal of sexual workers STAR-STAR, under the campaign for the December 17th footnote International Day for “Stop” violence against sexual workers has held the Red Chad March in front of Mother Teresa's memorial house in Skopje.
“Why should we work on the fear of harassment, abuse and social neglect. Why are you looking for us and not recognize us? We have chosen sexual work as the best option of making a living and no one should deprive us of our right to live a life-free” were the messages of sex workers in northern Macedonia who held a peaceful red umbrella march on the streets of the city on Wednesday, December 18.
They have also sought derimination of prostitution, or legalization for this profession.
