In an interview with Indexline, Kosovo's imam had denied the charges it filed with, calling them groundless, while stressing that all of these were made by his ex-wife because of jealousy and revenge.
The same had even added that all of this is being done to destroy the image and that despite the former wife's injury, she wants forgiveness. But if convicted, he had said he would want to suffer prison in Switzerland rather than return it to Kosovo.
