Vuciq commenting on the conviction handed down to former minister at the Haradinaj II government, Ivan Todosijevic, who denied the Recak massacre and insulted the victims, had backed that denial by expressing themselves with insulting language even for O rapporteur SBE's at the time, William Walker.

The response of the Swiss Embassy in Kosovo and the Kosovo Humanitarian Law Centre for denying atrocities in Recak
In post-conflict societies, it is fundamental to address the past. A significant part of this is the admission of victims to the conviction of crimes committed. Setting up facts and revealing the truth about past events are pre-conditions for long-term and meaningful reconciliation. Any declaration of conflict events must be based on facts and show respect for victims and their families. The revision and denial of war crimes must be confronted, especially when it comes from political representatives of state institutions.
Swiss Embassy in Kosovo and Humanitarian Law Centre in Kosovo [ HLC Kosovo] supports the strong and Ikuivoke sentences of the declaration issued by President Vuciq denying atrocities in Recak.
