Corruption is a serious crime that can harm social and economic development in all societies, against which no country, region or community is immune.
Civil society organisations in Kosovo, for the fourth year in a row, have joined in the week against corruption, which is due to begin today.
During this week, issues will be addressed concerning the rule of law in government, public procurement, health and education, as the main focus will be signalers, their defence and the law on the signalers, which has been adopted this year.

Coalition organisations will also publish the Week's Anti-Corruption Tasks Calendar. While, the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), organises the exhibition and the awards-sharing ceremony for the best anti-corruption photo race 2019.

But in this day's case, the Kosovo Institute for Justice and “The Justice Trust” on the occasion of the documentary premiere showing “Corruption signals” have organised a programme, which will also include the US Embassy's deputy chief in Kosovo, Nicholas Giacube.
Otherwise, the Anti-Corruption Week, which is backed by the US Embassy in Pristina, will last until December 13th.
