From January to Oncology Begin Use of Immmorosis

This is done thanks to the New Essencile Bars List, which entered into force in September of this year.

Onology Clinic Director Ilir Kurtishi says that with the signing of the new essential list, something good has been done for Oncology.

“will start using inmutorapy, which is now known in the world as the fifth pillar of oncological treatment. There are two drugs that we recommended with recommendations from the World Health Organization (OSHB), which has monitored us throughout the process and these drugs will be used for advanced skin disease, called metastatic melanoma”, he stressed.

In addition to these two drugs, an essential list of Oncology has been changed for five other drugs, says Kurtish.

We have recommended that this number initially be 20 patients who will take advantage of these drugs and if in time these drugs, or their number is smaller, then this range of use of these drugs will become a disease of another organ, such as lungs. In addition to these two drugs, our essential list has undergone changes for five other new drugs that we have not had before. Medication for prostate, breast cancer, and treatment of certain types of cancer with a form of chemotherapy, which so far has not been on the list, which we can use in tumor forms and have undergone a change in bone metastasis treatment”, Kurtishi reported.

The director of this clinic prays that such drugs will arrive early in order to benefit patients in need.

And we've been planning this since last month and we expect that in January-February of next year to start with the coming of the first orders that we've asked for, because this job takes time because the bidder, the different companies that have these drugs, they should be ordered earlier and their transportation should be to come to us. We are hoping and praying very much for these drugs to come as early as possible, at least in the first quarter of 2020, and this will directly affect the benefits of patients, especially those who need these drugs”, says Kurtishi, under which if they delay, they have alternative drugs that they have used so far.

According to Kurtish, four old drugs that were part of the essential list have been removed from the Essencial Bars List, but have never been tendered.

“There has been a period when institutions have asked for some clarifications of the eventual uncertainties they have had, they have already been exceeded and all institutions know that new contracts mean initiated of any product should be done exclusively on this list”, says Hoti.

He further points out that there is innovation compared to the old list of essential Bars.

The new “List has had over 350 new proposals, has innovation compared to the old list. The new list is in the format of WHO's list, there are new products for oncology for Hematology, there's a definition of anesthetics list, there's an update on the list of antibiotics, there's new products for other services, it's just a more advanced list, a list that guarantees quality products, even which should be the most cosect”, Hoti said.
