The Epicentre was identified in the same area of the country, affected six days ago by a violent earthquake that caused the death of 51 people -- twenty-six of them in Durres.
All the victims were found under the ruins of five buildings: two hotels at the southern end of Golem, Villa Palma and Miramara, and three buildings, in one of which eight were dead, the Italian press said, doing so and a review of the situation.
The seismic line of Albania, Professor Alessandro Michetti, docent of geology at the University of Insubria, and a specialised expert on seismic risk in the Mediterranean region, explains, saying such strong earthquakes cause environmental modifications, leaving their “trace to the territory.
We can't stop earthquakes from happening, and we're still far from the possibility of predicting”, says Michetti.
“But what we can do, “he adds, “is study the signs left by previous symptoms to build an evolutionary history of the area, identifying the most critical points”.
Italian media also mention the phenomenon of rising water from the earthquake, remembering that following an earthquake that crosses the 4.2 magnitude, it is possible that some sandy and water - rich terrain will quickly lose resistance, causing buildings to sink over them.
In Albania's earthquake, one of the scriptures says, there were many buildings that fell, as they were built on such terrain.
