Kosovo's Special Prosecutor has demanded that Serb Zvonko Veselinovic be arrested. He is allegedly involved in the police murder case, Enver Zymber. And the prosecution's request was approved by the Court. The latter has issued an arrest warrant for this person.
That is confirmed for Express, Pristina Foundation Court spokeswoman Mirlinda Gashi. In the response accepted by the Court of Pristina, it has become known that, in terms of the prosecution's request, the Court has issued arrest warrants, local writing and international writing, given the reasonable suspicion that Zvonko Veselinovic has committed criminal acts of participation or organisation of the criminal group.
And according to the prosecution, Veselinovic is allegedly involved in the 25 July 2011 event, where Special Kosovo Police Unit member Enver Zymberi was killed.
Zymber was killed in 2011 in an operation by special police units to take control of the border crossings north of the country.
On July 25th, 2011 unknown persons had fired in the direction of Kosovo police officers who had been ordered to bring the Jarinje and Brnjak border checkpoints under control, killing Enver Zymber to death. Enver Zymber died of injuries sustained on July 26, 2011.
A day later, on July 27th, President Jahjaga decorated the police killed in office with Kosovo's “Hero Order”.
