2010-2019, according to scientists, appears to be the warmest decade, according to the organisation mentioned above (OMO). They suggest that this year will be the second or thirdest warmest year in all times since measurements have begun to take place.
Global warming is caused by greenhouse gas emissions, the OMO has further said.
South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Ocean experienced unusual levels of warmth this year, while North America was also warmer than usual, followed by Periscope from the BBC.
In Europe, respectively, there was a record this year during the month and July, with temperatures reaching up to 46 degrees Celsius.
