Explosion in a German city has hurt

There was an explosion in a building in Germany's Blakenburg city this morning.

Media in Germany report that according to recent intelligence from police at least 25 people reportedly are injured but that this number is not yet official because more details are not known.

Police spokesman in this city has said residents are being evacuated.

In a photograph that police have published, there is a five-story building that, according to German media, has been around since communism. There's smoke in the windows.
