The Greek newspaper news bomb.gr has brought the most important events to memory, including the deadly earthquake in Albania.
January 10th: The presidential crisis in Venezuela- Venezuela's presidential crisis erupted when the country's National Assembly respalled President Nicolas Maduro. This was rejected by Juan Guidao, who was self-exposed President. It was supported by many countries around the world, including the US and the EU. The crisis in Venezuela brought several victims.

April 14th: Serial Killer in Cyprus The serial killer who shocked Cyprus was sentenced to seven life sentences after being convicted of killing five women and two young girls. The victims were mainly employed as cleaners in houses on the island and disappeared between September 2016 and August 2018. The last two murders were discovered on 14 April. Marie Rose and her six-year-old daughter were found inside a mine bus.

April 15th: The devastating fire at Notre Dame in Paris- Shocking and sadness all over the world brought great fire that included the Nore Dame cathedral in Paris. Fire burned uncontrollably for 8.5 hours, most of the cathedral.

August 21, 2019: Amazon in flames- The species of the planet, the Amazon tropical forest, was engulfed in flames, burning with a very high increase. Brazilian President Zaich Bolsonaru said in that period that his government had no resources to fight the fires in the Amazon rain forests, as satellite images showed the record numbers of 2019 fires. According to government agencies in 2019, 72,843 fires were registered, the highest number since the record began in 2013.

October 9, 2019: Turkish invasion in Syria- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced via Twitter that a new Turkish military operation was launched in northern Syria against Syrian Kurdish militia.
The Turkish Armed Forces and the Syrian National Army (The Ankara-backed Syrian rebels) have launched Operation “Peace Source” in northern Syria,” wrote the Turkish president.
The International Community condemned the Turkish invasion.

October 31, 2019: Islamic State Confirms Baghdad's Death The Islamic State confirmed that Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi's leader was killed after an American attack. The jihadist organisation founded Abu Ibrahim al-Hashim al-Koasi as its successor.

November 26, 2019: Earthquake in Albania- The November 26th earthquake in Albania has been one of the strongest shocks the Western Balkans have suffered for decades. 51 lost their lives, and thousands of homes were destroyed.
We lost many lives, but we also saved a lot,” Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama told reporters during a visit to Tirana hospital.
Military officials, police and civil defenders for several days held search-for operations in areas close to the earthquake era in Durres and Thumana. Albanian seismologist Rropo Ormen stressed that the deadly 26 November earthquake was the strongest recorded in the Durres area since 1926.

December 12, British elections- Prime Minister Boris Johnson is considered the strongest man in the United Kingdom after his triumph in the December 12th parliamentary elections, a triumph allowing him to keep his promise to realise Britain's departure from the EU on January 31st.
