For the first time since 2015, the number of asylum applications in Europe has marked increases, according to Eurostat. But in Germany the number of asylum seekers has declined.
Throughout the European Union, the number of asylum seekers applying for the first time until September of this year has scored an increase of 8.6% from 435,610 to 473,215 people.
This represents a change in the train, according to Eurostat. So far, the number of asylum seekers after the maximum rate of 1.2 million people in 2015 has dropped year-on-year.
More asylum applications have been made for France and Spain. The main countries of origin, however, are Syria, Afghanistan, Venezuela.
Unlike some EU countries, in Germany the number of asylum seekers has scored 13%, according to Eurostat data.
