With the motto “Get up for human rights”, this initiative is aimed at sending a powerful message for increased and inter-institution commitment to promoting and educating basic human rights and freedoms.

Ombudsman Hilmi Jashar said that Kosovars' problems continue to be linked to air pollution, unpoured water, construction without permission, small greenery, and much more, which, according to him, all these problems have come because prosecutors and courts did not give priority to environmentally related subjects.

Yasar: Prosecutors, courts continue not to prioritize environmental subjects

<x) Procurories and courts continue to prioritize subjects that have to do and relate to the environment, continue to build objects without respect for the following principles, that is, the height permitted in relation to the altitude from the cadastral parcel border along public roads, the general surface layer of green for the absorption of atmospheric rainfall in relation to the surface of the cadastral parcel, minimum parking space requirements, natural lighting rights, environmental pollution restrictions and noise. There has been no improvement in monitoring final inspections and inspections. State institutions have not yet begun to take serious action to join the global initiative in terms of sustainable development objectives”, Jashar said.

Jashari said he hopes these problems will be a top target in the following year and in the future power, in order to ensure a healthy environment.

From civil society, Life Jarra said the reason Kosovo citizens live 10 years less than Europeans is because of the bad air we breathe, and according to her, all these things are happening because of projects that have emerged from political parties.

Jarra: Environmental pollution due to all parties

The reason Kosovo citizens live today 10 years less than in Europe is mainly because of the air we breathe today. Water support and environmental consents given to environmentally harmful projects have begun to be given by the government P DK-LDK, has continued with the PAN government, and today we still have communities in Pec, Shtrpce, Albanian and Serbian communities suffering from water pleasure permits that have given them destruction of their environments. On the other hand, this city has been led by Vetevendosje for five years, have we seen larger green spaces? Today, it may not be directed by Vetevendosje, but 5 years of winter is also not seen by this party that has come to power, to change the pollution of the air from which we are suffering most today, and the four months of winter are especially that they are tolerable, especially in our cities where we are going to be wearing walking masks, we have started with no one and we have started every time with people walking in masks because air pollution is at the risk level of”

Tarra said that PISA's results are not just because of our poor education and teachers, but because coal is witnessing with the international health organisation's recent studies that it directly affects the nervous system.
