According to the current scores of 600 out of 650 electoral areas, conservatives managed to get 328 seats in parliament, thus crossing the absolute majority limit. A prognosis of the opinion institute, Ipsos Mori says, that in the end conservatives can get 368 seats. This is the best result of conservatives for decades.

The absolute majority enables the prime minister, Boris Johnson, to pass the recently negotiated agreement with the EU to parliament. With this Great Britain, according to all odds, will emerge from the European Union on 31 January. Before supporters he said his government received a powerful “mandate to complete Brexit”. He promised that “would move the country forward and focus on the priorities of the British people.
Jeremy Corbyn leaves
The big election loser is Jeremy Corby's labist party. According to preliminary data, this party could capture only 191 seats in parliament, thus losing 71 mandates it had in the previous parliament. Corbyn has already warned the departure as chairman of the labist party. In a first proposal, he said it is a disappointing night for labists, and that he will no longer lead the party in future election campaigns. Even liberals positioned for EU stance did not get good results in the December 12th elections.
