The president is said to have held aid to Ukraine for domestic political reasons.
He insists that he didn't do anything bad “and called the whole process “crazy”.
If the House of Representatives Justice Commission votes to approve the articles later this week, they will be handed over to the lower chamber for a full vote.
If, on the other hand, the articles are approved by the House of Representatives, which is controlled by the Democrats, a judgment will be carried out under the vote of distrust of Trump in the Senate, probably in early January.
