CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi, told the Online Economy that there are people who, for different reasons, have not taken the means they belong to.
He's listed some of the reasons these people haven't been paid yet.
There are those who have not yet received the tools they belong to for various reasons, which have to do with: mistakes in bank account numbers, inactive accounts, or even non-personal accounts. In such cases, these people must communicate with the Municipal Election Commission in the municipality where it has been committed during these elections to present improvements that must be made in order to re-sign it for a payment”, he told EO.
The number of members of polling councils and other staff engaged in the October 6th elections is about 22 thousand and 500. Of this number only 500 cases we've had when the tools have returned for any of the high-value reasons. Many of them have been re-sent back to pay”.
As for the list, with the names of persons engaged as a daily staff at the QNR, Elesi said the list would be forwarded to the finance ministry over the next week.
“Also, lists of people engaged as day staff at the Counting and Results Centre, as well as lists with persons engaged in submitting results from the polling Centres will be forwarded for payment to the Ministry of Finance during the coming week”, he said.
