The “Ekips of Kosovo's main Family Medicine Centres, according to the invitation they received the previous day from the MS and IKSHKP, have begun providing vaccines, with which their vaccine units will vaccinate citizens in the days ahead. ” said in ministry notification
Seasonal flu vaccines, which will be used this year, according to recommendations made by O BSH, will be four jars, and as such, increases its protection against the most aggressive viruses in the course of seasonal flu.
These types of vaccines are used for the first time in Kosovo, thus becoming one of the first states in the region to provide four postal vaccines.
The vaccines are prequalified according to WHO standards, guarantee their quality and security and are dedicated to protecting the most sensitive groups of the population, such as the elderly and the affected by chronic diseases.
The National Institute of Public Health assures citizens that it is carefully monitoring the epidemiological situation in the country and has increased its vigilance to cope with the eventual cases of seasonal Grid.
