Former prosecutor Agron Matjan, found dead Thursday in his apartment in Prizren, has confirmed the police's spokesman for Prizren's Shaban Osmanolaj region.

But who was this former prosecutor?

Agron Matjani has exercised the State Prosecutor's post at the Department of Reform Crimes of Basic Prosecutors in Gjakova.

The prosecution of serious crimes in Gjakova Prosecutor Agron Matyan in January 2019 had been suspended from the post after allegedly threatening his brother's sister-in-law.

The case was reportedly taking place in the first week of November 2018 in Prizren, the day a court hearing was held in which prosecutor Matjan had represented his brother, who was part of the case.

And the Kosovo Special Prosecutor had filed charges against Agron Matjan at the Pristina Court at the Special Department a month earlier.

He was charged by the prosecution that, in some cases, in the prosecutor's quality, drasticly eased the qualifications of criminal acts against the accused.

“Special Prosecutorship has filed charges against prosecutor A. M., now most sponsored because of the criminal act “Using official task”, since the same in the quality of the official person, state prosecutor at the Department of Fundamental Prosecution Crime in Gjakova, has deliberately misused the position and duties of the prosecutor”, the Special Prosecutor's Report said.

Suzana Matyan, now Agron Matjan's ex-Kuryans, after being separated from the former chief prosecutor's brother, had decided to seek justice at the Court to take up the share of the property he had due from marrying Ali Matjanin.
