The four invitations that recently came from the Special Court have led to over 180 the number of people who were presented to the Special Prosecutor for interviews during 2019.

Although there has still been no indictment, lawyers say this is expected to happen in 2020, since the prosecution is on the verge of completing the investigation, the Voice newspaper writes today.

Specialised Special Chambers of Special Prosecutors have recently invited four former Kosovo Liberation Army fighters to interview. To provide clarifications to the 1998-2000 war period over 180 fighters have appeared near this prosecutor this year. Recently the former member of KLA,

Sabit Geci has received an invitation from the Special, where she will be presented on January 30, without telling what quality she was invited to do.

While the chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo in Pristina, former KLA member Brahim Mehmetaj, has indicated he received an invitation from the Special and will appear as a suspect.

But this tribunal, which is expected to investigate crimes allegedly committed by Albanians during the recent war in Kosovo, has still filed no charges.
