The tragic story of the Abazi family that lost two sons in Durres

They left yesterday morning for Durres. They would go there for several days with a view to performing certain tasks. But the two brothers from the village of Livoc of the municipality of Gjilan had bad luck and remained in the ruins of the Hotel in Durres, where they were standing after the terrible earthquake that struck [...]

Survival was being provided by jobs that were being committed from time to time as mechanics in Albania. With these jobs, the two already deceased brothers, the Shemsed of Isa Ahaz, one 32 - and the other 29 - year - olds, were taking a long time.

But Monday proved fatal to these two brothers. They were just like thousands of other Albanians were hit last night about four o'clock after midnight by a 6.4-degree quake, thus staying under the ruins of the hotel they were staying in.

Livoc-Gylan Village

Lucky for them, nothing was expected for more than 15 hours. The first without signs of life was found, 29-year-old Jesse. Then, his brother, 32-year-old Shemsedin, was found dead too.

Today, the Express newspaper has stayed at the home of these two brothers in the village of Livoch, Gjilan. They are shocked by all this serious event.

We don't want to believe they're our boys. That's not possible. They simply cannot be”, the family members of the two deceased brothers speak under tears.

They show that Shemsedin and Jesse had gone to work in Durres. These two have left children behind, one four to another.

Families of the deceased lived under grave social conditions.

But this family seven years ago has faced another tragedy. Their son was stabbed in a pool where his wounds had changed his life. Now there's only one boy left in the Abazi family who will take care of all the other members.

But what is known so far for the deadly earthquake that struck Albania last night
